Spot Kick — a penalty shootout where the ball obeys physics
Spot Kick is a free football penalty game you play in your browser, on a phone or a computer. You take penalties until your first miss, and every shot comes down to three choices: where you aim, how hard you hit it and where on the ball your boot meets it.

How to play
- Drag from the ball to the spot in the goal you want to hit, then let go.
- Hold a little longer for more power — the bar on the left shows the charge. A harder shot is quicker but less precise.
- Move the mark on the ball dial to choose where you strike it: low for backspin, high for topspin, to the side for curl.
- Pick the ball, your kicking foot, the angle of your run-up and whether you pause a step before the ball.
- Score to keep going. The run ends with your first miss — then try to beat your best score.
A penalty game where the shot is yours
Most penalty games let you pick a corner and then roll the dice. In Spot Kick nothing is decided in advance: the ball goes where your kick sends it. Strike it low and it keeps its height, high and it dips under the bar, off-centre and it curls away from the keeper.
Power is a trade, not a bonus. A hard shot arrives flat and gives the keeper less time, but it bends less and lands wider of where you aimed. A softer one curls more and goes exactly where you put it — if the keeper lets it.
Every run is played somewhere real
Each run takes you to a real city, and the place changes the ball. High up, the air is thinner and a curler bends less: in La Paz, 3,640 m above sea level, the same shot that bends 6.5 cm at the coast bends only 4.4 cm. Wind pushes the ball off line, and rain, snow and night games change how the pitch looks and feels.
Eight balls, your run-up, a keeper who learns
Choose from eight balls, from a classic 32-panel stitched ball to modern bonded ones with four, six or twenty panels. Each flies a little differently, so the ball is a real choice, not a skin.
The keeper is a different man every run. He may not reach the far corner, he gets to low shots more easily than high ones, and he remembers where you have been shooting and leans that way. A short pause in your run-up is legal and catches a keeper who dives early.
